Rahmath Girls Matric. Hr. Sec. School was inaugrated by the beloved Mother of our founder trustee “Rahmath Amma”, on June 10th, 1996 at Abdul Kasim Nagar in Muthupet. Our school is owned and run by the trustees who believe that education for women is an important prerequisite for a nations development.
This outstanding institution has been established exclusively for the educational upliftment of girls. Women being educated would be able to mend the minds of children in a better way. This will automatically lead to sustainable development in the rate of women literacy as it is said, “Educate a girl and she will change the world”.
Our school is situated in about 10 acres. We have a good and vast infrastructure in the lap of nature. A greenish environment adds enchantment to our campus. Our school has three buildings are Main block, Primary block and Hostel - the residential block. Our Main block is a three storey building with multiple classrooms and each room has excellent airy ventilation for better air circulation. Additionally, each classroom is also equipped with a Smart Board.
Our school boasts of roomy and separate laboratories! These laboratories have new equipments that are technology friendly for the students so that they have a better learning experience. We also provide high speed internet connectivity in computer labs in order to provide students with internet access.
There is a large well-stocked library where more than 9,500 books are racked. Voracious readers are identified and awarded every year. Students are encouraged to develop their reading habits and skills regularly.
Every year, maintenance of the infrastructure and tending to even minute renovations or updating of materials with utmost care will find paucity of words to match their commitment. We have a vast play ground of about 87126 sq.ft. Sports and games take place in this ground to keep our students physically sound.
Our school residential block is a three storey building- spacious, well-equipped rooms with all necessary facilities. Our students feel at home away from home. They are looked after with motherly care. They are safe and secure in our hands all day long!
Expansive play area is also a remarkable feature. Regular sports and games are conducted here. Inter school competitions are also conducted which make our school playground special one.
We have a very vast open air auditorium. All our special celebrations like Annual day, Tamil Ellakkiya Mandram, Pattimandram are conducted here. It can accommodate more than 5,000 people. It is a pride for our school.
We envisage the women of our society to be inspired and improve their educational status, by strengthening their potential for a remarkable career achievement, societal recognition and economical independence. We persistently vitalize them to evolve physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, through this institution.
Our mission is to empower young women, by providing opportunities for their growth and development in a safer and more protective environment and training every individual from the brass tacks, to meet out their most complex challenges in life.
Achievement is a price or recognition. A great life doesn't happen just like that. It happens only after allocating one's time, energy, thoughts and hard work towards what one wants his/her life to be. Every person should customize these secrets for creating a great life to-day. First Simplify, it means that one should free up energy and time for the work that one enjoys and the purpose for which they are doing which would lead the pathway for achievement.
